CDG supports the modernization efforts within the Department of Agriculture’s FPAC’s Farm Loans Program (FLP). The USDA’s Kansas City data center is slated to shut down in March 2026, mandating all applications hosted on site to be relocated either to the cloud or a data center in Chicago. CDG supports the essential upgrades to 27+ legacy applications so that they can be relocated and adhere to the USDA Cloud Mandate. These systems are the foundational backbone and underlying plumbing for several business functions that makeup the Farm Loans Program ecosystem. As an example, the National Appraisal Tracking System (NATS) is being upgraded a modernized approach to ordering, processing, and tracking appraisal services required for making and servicing loans in the Farm Service Agency and streamlining appraisal process for both farm and non-farm properties.
